AGV Charger Faults: A Communication-First Checklist
Most 'charger faults' in fleets are communication and profile mismatches — check them before hardware.
01Symptom
Bays report faults, packs undercharge, or the fleet dispatcher shows charging gaps.
02Check communication first
With CAN/RS485 reporting, the dispatch screen shows which bay failed and why. Without it, you are guessing.
03Check the profile
A CC-CV taper mismatched to the pack undercharges or ages cells. The profile must match the pack spec.
04Escalate with evidence
Send the charger model, pack spec and the fault report — engineering replies within 24 hours.
